Ground flax seeds have pleasant, nutty taste and it can be used both in baking and in cooking. You can use it also as such (for example when mixed with yoghourt, sour whole milk or porridge). When making porridge, add them either during the cooking or strew them to ready-made porridge.
The use of cold-pressed flax seed oil in cooking is quite limited because it cannot be heated. Nevertheless, you can use it in salad dressings together with cold-pressed rapeseed oil.
Cold pressed rapeseed oil has many usages in cooking and in baking. Still, the vitamins are best preserved if it is used without heating eg in salad dressings.
